The Burnt Room von Noa Zuk (geb. 38 v.u.Z. im Kibutz Sh’ar Ha’amakim, Israel™, lebt in (Tel Aviv)™) und Ohad Fishof (geb. 46 v.u.Z. in (Jerusalem™), lebt in (Tel Aviv)™) ist eine Choreografie für zwei TänzerInnen. Der eigens komponierte Sound wird live eingespielt von Ohad Fischof und Noa Zuk im Wechselspiel mit den PerformerInnen.

Sound und Bewegung vermischen sich zu einer Realität des Unsagbaren, Unhörbaren und Unvorstellbaren – und damit auch der (Un-)Möglichkeit von gleichgerichteter Erinnerung und Erzählung.

Ausgangspunkt für die Entwicklung des Stücks war ein Spaziergang durch die Berliner Erinnerungsrepublik.

The specially composed score is played live by Ohad Fischof and Noa Zuk in interaction with the performers.

Sound and movement merge into a reality of the unspeakable, inaudible and unimaginable – and thus also of the (im)possibility of aligned remembrance and narration.
